NTC Mazzuca Contracting Awarded $4 .8 Million Frederick Community College Project
NTC Mazzuca was recently award the Frederick Community College Building B Project.
This project is a complete reconfiguration of approx. 30,400 GSF of classrooms, computer labs, common areas, storage and circulation; including demolition of existing features and replacement of mechanical, plumbing, fire alarm and AV equipment & systems.
The project will also include (2) outdoor classrooms on opposite sides of the Building B and photo voltaics on the roof.
An aggressive 7 month schedule must be held to ensure building is operational for classes by end of July 2015.
The project is designed to achieve LEED Silver certification under USGBC LEED 2009 for New Construction and Major Renovations.
