Construction – Project Manager/Sr. Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Develop new clients and maintain existing client relationships
  • Estimate projects and prepare bid proposals
  • Manage several projects simultaneously
  • Procure, coordinate and manage subcontractors & suppliers
  • Monitor material lead times & delivery dates
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedule (Proficient in Microsoft Project)
  • Communicate daily with project team (Site Superintendent, Architect, Engineers)
  • Chair client progress meetings and prepare meeting minutes
  • Review, log, and monitor submittals & Coordinate Shop Drawings
  • Prepare, log, and monitor Requests For Information (RFI’s)
  • Prepare, log, and monitor Change Proposals
  • Prepare, log, and monitor Client AIA Requisitions For Payment
  • Process subcontractor & supplier invoices
  • Facilitate project close out
  • Computer Skills – Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook

Construction - Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain project office and records, including project directory, submittal logs, RFI logs, material delivery logs, close out logs, etc., and assist with the day-to-day management of scheduled activities on projects.
  • Process shop drawings and submittals, logging and tracking all project documentation; e.g. shop drawings, RFI’s, ASI’s, proposal requests, and change orders.
  • Support creation and management of project schedules.
  • Identify and resolve field issues.
  • Prepare and process all close-out materials; e.g. as-built drawings, warranties, lien releases, operation and maintenance manuals and punch list control.
  • Coordinate work with site subcontractors, inspectors, architects, engineers, and project owner representatives.

Requirements Include

  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.

Construction - Project Superintendent

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects that meet or beat the Project Schedules and gross margin targets
  • Build projects that are award winning caliber; have an eye for quality
  • Mange projects that fulfill the zero defect requirement
  • Create positive morale and team chemistry
  • Have a solid & capable understanding of building means and methods
  • Complete projects that gain client referrals resulting in repeat project opportunities
  • Ensure project completion through developing project schedules
  • Work with project team to manage material deliveries and the management of material onsite
  • Communicate sequence and schedule updates to all subcontractors and vendors
  • Preparation of daily construction reports
  • Maintain and update construction drawings, RFIs, daily reports, submittals, project specifications, subcontract drawings, shop drawings, etc. for field operations and to prepare final “as builts”
  • Coordinate, and review all on site work to be sure it is accurate within the Construction Document
  • Review and coordinate contract drawings, specifications, submittals and shop drawings to ensure proper installation
  • Coordinate layout in accordance with all project requirements
  • Maintain a safe job site with zero incidents

Requirements Include

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years of construction management experience at the Assistant Superintendent or above level
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and Project or similar scheduling software
  • Working Conditions: Field environment. May be exposed to environments with heavy machinery and extreme weather conditions. Employee is required to talk, hear, stand, and walk long distances;including climbing stairs

INTERNSHIP: Construction (Field & Office)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of daily construction reports
  • Maintain and update construction drawings, RFIs, daily reports, submittals, project specifications, subcontract drawings, shop drawings, etc. for field operations and to prepare final "as builts"
  • Assist, coordinate, and review all on site work to be sure it is accurate within the Construction Documents
  • Review and coordinate contract drawings, specifications, submittals and shop drawings to ensure proper installation
  • Assist in developing project schedules and communicate sequence and schedule updates to all subcontractors and vendors
  • Assist in timely project completion through project scheduling, working with project team to manage material deliveries and the management of material onsite
  • Set up & manage client bids on in-house bid site
  • Contact Subcontractors via phone and/or email to obtain bid proposals
  • Review and file Subcontractor Certificates of Insurance
  • Assist estimating & proposal preparation

Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Payable Email
  • Review and process Subcontractor and Vendor invoices for accuracy and confirm proper backup is attached
  • Interact with vendor regarding invoices issues and payments
  • Process AP checks
  • Manage the lien waiver process
  • Manage any special payment terms/joint check agreements
  • Reconcile monthly vendor statements
  • Data entry of various items into accounting software (Budgets, Change Orders, Owner Invoices)
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly and yearly close processes
  • Perform misc. position related duties as assigned

Requirements Include

  • 3+ years of related accounting experience
  • Experience working with Sage Intacct
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative to identify and solve problems
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
