UMMS Central Maryland Radiation Oncology – Central CT SIM

The University of Maryland Medical Center engaged Mazzuca Contracting to provide design assist services to facilitate the design process between the owner and design team. Mazzuca used their experience in imaging projects to provide valuable input of construction techniques, installation, scheduling, and cost estimating.

Mazzuca coordinated the construction work with the CT vendor, Siemens, for a successful installation of the new CT SIM. Mazzuca provided all labor, materials, equipment, and full-time supervision to execute the project in a live Radiation Oncology environment.

The scope of work included, but was not limited to selective demolition, new MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), architectural millwork and new interior finishes.
