Grace Community Church

Grace Community Church was a 4800 SF lobby buildout located in Fulton, MD. The scope of work consisted of finishes, a very detailed ceiling layout accommodating three existing skylights, new mechanical and electrical, as well as, two new fireplaces and a coffee bar. The finishes included refinishing the existing doors with a MOZ Metal finish, carpet flooring, ceramic tile wall bump outs, and new millwork. The ceiling layout consisted of 1hr and 2hr rated assembly layers with gypsum buildouts around three skylights. The electrical scope of work included a new lighting package throughout the Lobby. The mechanical and plumbing scope involved installation of new ductwork throughout, air devices, and new plumbing fixtures. Two new gas fire places were installed with a stone surround and MOZ finishes on the upper portion. The coffee bar included new countertops, base cabinets, tile backsplash and new plumbing fixtures and lighting. The work was conducted in an occupied space, where temporary measures were installed and maintained for the duration of the project. There was also daily coordination with the building’s facilities manager and engineer for dumpster arrivals, trash hauling, material deliveries, required shutdowns and day to day construction activities.
